Perhaps this year { will be a pleasant i change. Many of our kt local residents have been i very involved with the i many rural fairs that are ! happening these weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Bob ! Mahaffy of St. Marys i spent several days last week with Bill and Jean Mahaffy and visited i other members of the i Mahaffy family in the area. The annual # McLaughlin picnic was held on Sunday at the ® home of Ted and Mary McLaughlin, Fenelon Falls. Many members from here attended the family gathering. Among those who attend- ed was Mrs. Alma Taylor of Port Perry Nursing Home. Alma is quite well and enjoyed visiting with family members. The 4-H Club, Basic Baking which is open for boys and girls who was 12 years old by July 1 will be beginning next week. BD DURHAM PUBLIC ed on the map below.
