To begin a busy week on Tuesday October 8, Pearce Auctioneers played an exhibition game against the hard hitting Sutton team losing 5-1 Port's lone marker was scored by Scott Heasman assisted by Davey Bourgeois. Pee Wees get revenge by Chris Legere On Friday, October 11, the Port Perry Legionaires played their se- cond season against Peterborough. After losing their first game to them they got their revenge by walloping them 8-2 in a hard fought game. The scoring was opened by Sean Brad- bury and was assisted by Jason Towns and that was the only goal of the first period. In the second period Brian Appleby scored his first of four goals with a hard slapshot and it was unassisted. Three minutes later, Sean Brad- bury scored his second goal of the game and it was also unassisted. The last goal of the second period was scored by Danny Sluggett assisted by Brian Appleby and that made the score after 2 periods 4-0. Two minutes into the third period, Peterborough scored their first goal and Port answered with four more goals. Brian Appleby scored the first of the four goals with Danny Sluggett assisting.
