Crandells closed the gap on a goal by Donovan Smith. Smiths regain- ed their 2 goal spread on some ex- cellent passing. Bantam B's tie 3-3 by Rob Jamieson and John Lally On November 5 the Port Perry Sportsland Bantam B's travelled to Oakwood and had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The game didn't get rolling until the 4:47 mark in the first period when Darren Caudle scored from a nice pass from Derek Fitzgerald. Oakwood came back with 3 goals and we were trailing 3-1 going into the dressing room at the break. We came back out determined to come back, and we did! We were still trailing 3-2 when at the 1:22 mark in the third period John Lally scored the tying goal with another assist going to Dave Ir- vine. Port handles Markham Port Perry hosted a tough Markham team Wednesday night as they came out winners 4 to 3. John Lally and Rob Brown got Port roll- ing as Lally gave Brown the pass back on a beautiful give and go. Port fell behind but Matt Durward blasted one home with the assist go- ing to John Lally. Then Rob Brown tied things up at 3 when he scored his second of the night as he deflected Rob Jamieson's hard slap shot from the point. Then with less then a minute to go with Port on the power play, John Lally threw the pass back to Paul Wylie who put the shot just under the cross bar to win it. The main reason for this win was every player gave 100 percent especially Port's goalie, Rink King who made marvelous saves to keep Port alive and encourage them on. The following Saturday in Markham Port showed their stuff by beating Markham again 4-3. John Lally got Port motivated when he scored 15 seconds into the game.
