The program was given by Chrissie McKinney who followed the usual pattern of the women of the Bible. Chrissie chose Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist for us to learn more about "her life and the time in the bible in which she lived. The new executive for the class is past President- Aldene Wick; President- Nellie Hopkins; ~ Secretary- Margaret Davis; and Treasurer- Joan Knight. A letter was read from our little Korean girl "Mona" written in the beautiful Korean hand writing and also translated into English. A lovely lunch was served by the hostess assisted by Bernice Gardner. There was a good turn out at the euchre party last Thursday evening when ten tables were playing. The ladies who won prizes were: Kay Brown, Erma Wood and Ruby Smith. The winning men were: Art Richardson, Jack Bright and Bill Hodgins. Nancy Skelding got the most lone hands; Greta Halsey won the door prize and Ray Porter won the 50/50 draw. The next euchre will be on January 30th. Magnum's coming! What's Magnum you say?
