Mrs. Anne Wills visited the McKeans and they drove to Port McNicoll to visit their mother. Now happy to report Mrs. Archer's health is much improved! Greenbank UCW held their first meeting of 1986 on Wed. afternoon Feb. 10th in the church. Mary Jean Till 'opened the meeting with a reading "At the Gate of the Year" Hymn 519 - "Lord, while for all mankind we pray" was sung. Doris. Hill read Psalm 24. Eunice Rohm read "When tragedy is a way of life" showing us how are Native People live follow- ed by Hymn Lord of the Lands. A skit entitled "The Displaced Natives' was presented by Margaret Couperthwaite and Doris Hill. Mary Jean closed the devo- tional part of the meeting with prayer. During the business period it was decided our next meeting would be combined with the World's Day of Prayer to be held in the church on March 7. A 'pot luck' supper is being planned for March 16, followed by an evening of slides. 28 members answered the roll call. The group in charge served a lovely lunch and a social time was enjoyed. As one member mentioned -- '""This was a very interesting ~ meeting." Sunday guests at the Jack Couper- thwaite's were daughter Marion and Les Jermey and their three grand- sons of Hawkstone. Our best wishes to all the "Shut- ins" with the cold or flu. We are glad to hear Frank Lee is feeling better and Mona Mero is improving at home.
