In the first game of the series the defeated Uxbridge 6 to 1. Scoring for the Eagles were Dave Burnett with 2 goals and 2 assists; Craig Menzies 2 goals and 2 assists; John Harman 1 goal and 1 assist with Derek Dex- ter getting the last goal. Having a big night setting up goals was Greg Warriner with 4 assists; Rob Baker and Lee Wilbur getting 1 assist each. In the second game the Eagles came out flying to trounce Uxbridge 10 to 4. Having a big night was John Harman 2 goals and 4 assists and Rob Baker with 1 goal and 4 assists; Derek Dexter had 2 goals, 1 assist; Greg Warriner 1 goal and 1 assist; . Chris Cookman, Dave Culbert, Chris Lane and Craig Menzies each chipping in 1 goal each; Lee Wilbur "and Scott Burke picked up the other points with 2 assists each. In both of these games, John Harman and Bill Eade were steady in net when they were called on. In the third game with a few guys hurting and nothing going right, the Eagles went down to defeat 6 to 1. Pickering. The lone marker for the Eagles was Rob Baker assisted by Dave Culbert. In the past week the Bruton's IDA Petites played their last two league games against Mariposa and Whit- by. On Wednesday we travelled to Oakwood to revenge the loss of a week before during the Mariposa tournament. Playing one of their better skating and checking games, Bruton's defeated Mariposa by a score of 12-4. The game was very close in the first half as Bruton's led by a score of 54. With steady goaltending by Tracy Pelow and the - checking and passing of everyone, we scored 7 unanswered goals and were victorious. Port started off quickly with 2 goals before Whitby scored. This continued with Port leading 54 at the end of the first period. In the second period we outscored them 4-2. The highlight of the second period was Denna Lover- Petites get their revenge ing scoring her 100th goal of the season. Congratulations Denna!! You certainly deserved the game ring. It was good to see the defence playing so well up on the forward line.
