Ice fishing season closes this year again on a strong financial base, a proven track record and a professional team second to none in the area they serve. / PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, March 4, 1986 -- 9 March 15 and all huts must be removed by that date. . x According to authorities at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources there is a record number of huts on the ice this winter. An aerial survey conducted recently revealed 498 ice huts on the lake, while a count recorded by a conservation officer on a snowmobile accounted for 499 huts. According to local anglers, ice fishing on Lake Scugog has been very good this year although most of the pickerel caught have been a little smaller than other years. One of the acceptions to this was Leslie Karacs of Scugog Point who landed a 14.5 pound pickerel about 200 yards off the point last month. Peter Hessel (From page 5) How ludicrous. Don't buy things in lieu of it or as a token for it. You must love, on Saint Valentine's Day and always." And he vanished. My own molecules were transposed, and I found myself back in bed. Next day I cancelled my order with Sears. And I have bad news for Hallmarks and the local florist. I'm going to follow the man's advice for a year.
