It was an excellent presentation that impress- ed all in attendance. Motto was played by Leslie McKenzie, Wizard by Susan Kyte, the Mayor by Jody Logan and Canada Goose-by Jeff Kemp. Congratulations on such a great job so well done. Mr. Larry Hoskin of Lake Louise, Alberta spent a week visiting his parents, Frank and Muriel Hoskin, his sisters Joan and Harvey Graham and family, Pat Fletcher and family and brother Ron and Sandra Hoskin and family as well as friends and other relatives. Mark Thursday or Friday even- ings for the annual Cartwright High School Drama Nights at the Recrea- tion Centre at 7:30 p.m. Each year the students present three one act plays as an interschool competition. It makes for an excellent evening of entertainment. The Centennial Committee met recently at the home of the chair- man, Rodger Simmons. The Com- mittee is looking for suggestions that can help celebrate Blackstock's 100th anniversary of its naming. The Lions Club will be holding a Car Wash at Cartwright High School on Saturday, May 11 as a fund rais- ing project. On Saturday evening the Blackstock United Church Sunday School held a Fun Night for all generations. Frank Barkey con- ducted a night of dancing and games which were enjoyed by the good number in attendance.
