A very enjoyable winter with many activities enjoyed. Service at the Nestleton Presbyterian church on Sunday saw a smaller congregation. Rev. Fred Swann read Psalm 19 and Scripture, Corinthians 7, with his message entitled, "Marital Ad- vice'. Hymns were played by Mrs. George Scott. A smaller Sunday School as well. Next Sunday at 10 a.m. : Rev. Charles Clarke conducted the service at the Caesarea Com- munity Church with Jerry Jonkheer giving the opening Prayer. A fair congregation on hand for a very lovely spring day. Rev. Dr. W.H. Crawford spoke on, "Do You Want To Be Made Whole" .based on Scripture James 5. Past Matroans Club Hold Meeting Eleven members from Car- twright and Port Perry, attended the Past Matrons Club, Blue Ray Chapter, Port Perry with Marjorie McCombe, the gracious hostess for the occasion. A delicious pot luck supper was of interest with many different casseroles and desserts to choose from. After the meal, a brief business meeting was held with President Joyce Taylor conducting same. Due to Stella Dennis moving to Barrie a card was signed by all and regrets, also warmest wishes expressed to Stella. She will be greatly missed in the Star, but promises she will be back to see us quite often. After the meeting closed all enjoyed playing Rummoli. A fine way to spend an April evening! : Euchre Party At the weekly Wed. evening card party at Caesarea the following were winners. First prize-Del Marlow 83, Second-Irene Train 77, Low-Tony Reddy with 46. A good attendance. After the card party a lovely lunch was served by Linda Hughes and Doris Dean. A very in- teresting evening! "Ladies Auxiliary Meeting The April meeting of the Caesarea ladies auxiliary was held on Monday, April 21 with a fine at- tendance. A decision was made to have a Flea Market and Bake Sale on Sat. May 17th at 10 a.m. at the Caesarea Community Centre. The ladies auxiliary are serving at two bowling banquets, this past Satur- day, April 26th and coming up on Saturday May 3rd, in the Centre.
