Hope you are interested Myrtle news The final session ot wc Myrtle Square Dance Club took place on May 7 in the form of a pot-luck din- ner followed by dancing. For this last dance the group were invited to the Hamer's where all enjoyed the tremendous food and three sets square danced the evening away. Anyone wishing to take part in square dancing should watch for the announcement later on in the sum- mer for the classes which start in September and run until May each winter. John and Laural Hamer leave on Thursday for the week-end conven- tion of the International Square Dance Association at McMaster University in Hamilton. For three days they will enjoy sleeping in the dormitories, eating in the cafeteria - and dancing mornings, afternoons and evenings. Around three thou- sand people from all over Canada and United States will enjoy doing their favourite past-time together. See the demonstration of square dancing to be put on by the Myrtle group at the Brooklin Spring Fair on Sunday, June 8th.
