12 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, May 27, 1986 Play deals with kids' problems BIZZY, DIZZY, DAFFY, and AR- THUR are coming! In the premier performance of the newly formed GREENBANK CHILDREN'S THEATRE WORKSHOP. Showtime is June 5th, 6th and 7th at 8:00 p.m. This play deals in a comical, and musical manner with the problem's today's children face in our evcr + changing society. Set in a big city somewhere, the play revolves around a group of young people in need of a place to "play", when no one seems to want them around. The difficulties they encounter and their resolution in the end make for both an enjoyable and refreshing program. Though particularly geared toward youth, this play should pro- ve fun for the young at heart of all ages. The cast members are: Keana Reid, Janis Marshman, Peter Loughran, Andrew Galle, Michael} Green, Mike McCabe and Marilyn Geronimo. These young people are HAPPY all members of the theatre workshop that is held weekly at the Greenbank Town Hall. Formed just this past January, the workshop is directed by George Rizsanyi and assisted by Lyla Clarkson, and Catherine Galberg. It has proven to 'be a very popular class, with twen- ty local young people showing remarkable talent and skill at im- provisational theatre which the workshop's are based upon. Great effort has been put into this upcoming first production of the workshop, and we'd love to see you all at the show at the Town Hall in Greenbank. The shows are on Thurs. Fri. and Sat., June 5th, 6th and 7th--curtain time is 8:00 p.m. sharp. Tickets are $3.50 for adults and $1.50 for children twelve and under and are available by calling 985-8351 or 985-3703.
