The meeting was very well at- tended by parents from the Green- bank and Seagrave area. Cathy Galberg, who spoke for the group, did an excellent job and stood her ground well in the face of critical comments from members of the Property and Transportation Com- mittee. One member suggested that the townspeople's own complacen- cy in past years is at least partly responsible for the School Board's failure to take notice of the school situation here. The Committee's members discussed the issue after the depar- ture of the parents from Greenbank and Seagrave, and formed an ad- hoc committee to look this summer at all 10 school sites scheduled for General' Purpose rooms in the future. Since the Board's budget is already set for 1986, it will not be - known until sometime in the Spring of 1987 when Greenbank may expect construction to begin on our addition. As a final note, the Addition Com- mittee would like to thank all those parents who took the time to attend this meeting; we think the support demonstrated impressed the Board members. Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank our trustee, Debbie Tredway, for her support and concern in the matter of the proposed addition to the school, Sunday School Anniversary was observed last Sunday with Mrs. Lillian Roberts as special speaker. Congratulations to those who plann- - ed and took part in the service. We are especially proud of Rhonda who earned her Golden Bar Golden Ladder and Golden Hand all in one year. All of the Brownies achieved their Golden Bar and Golden Ladder so they have all worked very hard this year. Brown Owl, Jean Clarke was presented with a gift in ap- preciation for all her work and time. Tawney Owl, Dot Hooker was also thanked for her efforts by Jean. There were approximately fifty Mom's, Brownies and other family members on hand for the banquet supper. We also had our commissioner . Felicity Lomath as guest as well as several Guides from Seagrave and their leaders to assist on the fly up. Many thanks to everyone who helped during our Brownie year.
