Honourable mention for science fair wizard Steve London, a 15 year old grade 10 student at Port Perry High School received an "honourable mention' in the 25th annual Canada-Wide Science Fair held recently in Calgary. : : Steve's project titled 'Snow Con- trol" was in the intermediate engineering sciences division of the competition. For attaining the honourable mention, Steve received a membership and subscription to the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. Three other students from Durham Region received h marks at the Canada Science Fa. for their efforts. Karen Chien, 15 of Pickering won a silver medal and $500 scholarship in Life Scierice divi- - sion. Andrew Reeves-Hall, 18 of Whitby earned honourable mention PLANNING YO from *8.00 person.
