Against Whitby, the Legion squad had plenty of opportunities to take leads in several innings as they left men in scoring position all night. Trailing 5-1 entering the ninth, Port rallied for 2 runs and again left the bases loaded as they went down for the final time. Winning pitcher was Mark Coutu and the loser was Ken Irvine. Over the weekend Port played in the Oshawa Tournament and lost 10-5 to Greenbank, 10-0 to the Oshawa Merchants and 74 to Curlys in 11 innings.
