On June 25, at Caesarea, Port Perry Kinsmen and Cummings Backhoe played a very exciting game, with Cummings becoming . the victor with a score of 27-24. For the Kinsmen, Barry Ross had a good night, with three good catches in the outfield and batting in a home run and a triple. Christie Corden hit in a triple. Andrew Yorke also made a good catch in outfield. For Cumm- ings, Josh Wilson hit in two homers and Jamie Watson hit home one. The Blackstock Lions Pee Wees won their second game in as many starts Wednesday, June 18th at Nestleton as they defeated the visiting Port Perry Lil Gators 14-1. Blackstock Lions starting pitcher Jeremy Woodcock was in fine form throughout the game as he record- ed 9 strikeouts. Jody Logan pitched the 7th inning to complete the vic- tory. The pitching was backed up by a very strong offensive and defen- sive display. Lead in the offense were Ronnie Vokins and Tyler James with two hits each, with singles going to Jody Logan, Der- rick Rowntree, Chris Stevens and Jan Heyes. The Lil Gators pitching was wild as they issued 14 free passes. ' Blackstock Lioness Squirts have been playing well and as yet are undefeated. The Blackstock Lions Pee Wees extended their undeafeated record to 3-0 as they handily defeated Greenbank by a 17-4 score. Leading the offensive attack for Blackstock was centre fielder Jeff Brett with two home runs and a double for a 3 for 4 game and 7 R.B.I1.'s.
