The team earned first place pins for their standing during league play and won all four games in earning medals for the tournament championship. Kevin Ellis, Andy Wilson and Chris MacLeod shared the pitching duties for Blackstock Lioness as the Cartwright team defeated Tripp Construction 17-8, Allen Siding 15-2, Valu-Mart 19-18 and Irwin Smith 15-7. Tom Durward made some good cat- ches and Brandon Puckrin hit a solid triple to score 3 runs for Seagrave. August 14 The rained out game from August 6 between Allen Siding and Cart- wright saw Cartwright shut out Allen Siding 23-0. Brendon Agnew had a good game as catcher and bat- ting. Terry Park was also batting very well for the Cartwright team. Mosquitos win 2 A.T.J. Tool Mosquito Soccer Team won by default on Tuesday, August 12 against Orono. The of- ficial score was 1-0 with the open net goal going to Mark Cosway. On Thursday, August 14, A.T.J. travelled to Solina and played a solid game in all areas winning 6-2.
