Over $1,000 in prizes was put up by GM and Beatrice Dairy, while organizers received a helping hand from the Metro East Car Club and Greystone Equestrian Centre. Judging in nine different categories was done by spectators who were asked to volunteer. The results of the car show were not available as this issue of the Star was going to press on Tuesday after- noon, but organizers say they will be available for next week's issue. In the car rally, which attracted 23 entries, the team of Rich Burtch and Kelly Harrison placed first with 277 of a possible 300 points. The best dressed award in the rally went to E. and Chris Vandenburg of Blackstock. Winners of the General Motors trophies were the following: Kevin and Ted Willis of Manilla, Ron Deans and Irene Orchard, and John Stainthorpe and Patti Hayter. The Greystone Trophy was won by Leonard Allen and Brian Tilley. Organizers say the Classic Car Show and Rally proved so popular they will be part of the Fair in 1987. The following are the results of several different activities from the Port Perry Fair this year as sub- mitted to the Star on Tuesday mor- ning. Other events, like the Ontario 'County Holstein Show, are included in this edition of the Star.
