The Lillian Smith Memorial Trophy, donated by Roy Walker Smith, was awarded to Helen Lavender, the winner of the most points overall in the Homecraft Division. This trophy will be kept for a period of one year. The winner of the Greenbank Garden Centre $25 Gift Certificate was Grace Bajema. The Scugog Island Women's Institute Flower Section Special winner was Alice Turcotte. The Domestic Science Section has 9 Specials plus the 'Men Only' class in which Reg. Davis baked the prize winning chocolate layer cake. The Ocala Orchards winning fresh apple pie was baked by Eileen Slute. J.M. Schneider Limited gave Pen- Riley & Sons Pools. More 1986 Fair winners ny Pettipiece 1st prize for her apple pie; Ann Julia Bajema 1st prize for her chocolate cake; and Dorothy Lee 1st prize for her butter tarts. Five pounds of butter were given by the Durham Region Cream Pro- ducers Association to Deidre Earle for a light layer cake; Dorothy Lee for butter tarts; and Eileen McIn- tosh for chocolate brownies. A trophy, donated by A. McMillan, to be kept for one year was the prize. The Junior Fair plaques given by the Kinsmen Club of Port Perry go to Katie Coates and Raven Ward for winning the most points. Stolen A Greenbank resident on the 13th concession called Durham Police when he noticed a yearling Holstein heifer stolen from his property on August 29th.
