ES The Central Seven Great Balloon Race cost Doreen Sqeich of R.R. 1, Oshawa only a buck, but she was $250 richer when her balloon was found further away than anybody else's. The balloons (679 of them) were bought and released for Central Seven fun- draising purposes during Port Perry's Caribbean Days in July. Mrs. Squelch's balloon travelled 15 miles east of Picton on County Road 7 in Northmarysburgh Township. The balloon was found by Ver- non Powers of R.R. 4, Picton, and for his troubles, Mr. Powers will receive $25.
