Dini Page spent the weekend in Haliburton attending a weaving course. This is a six year course in which you spend 2 weekends a year. Ross and Barbara Evans visited John and Florence Wiersma of Blythe on Sunday. Congratulations to Keith and Faye Ashton who celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary last week. Mrs. Ross has been staying with a friend in Mississauga who lost her husband recently. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Trip, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Geer of Port Perry called on Mr. and Mrs. Alan Card on Sunday evening. We are pleased to learn that Alan is doing fine after a recent surgery. In August maybe you didn't have " plans made for October. However, the time is coming for the trip to Mennonite Country on October 4. "This is your chance to help a worthy { { 4 4 { 1 { { { | cause and enjoy a fun day. This is a fundraising trip for the Block Parents of this area. You will see Kitchener Market, on to St. Jacobs for lunch - time for browsing and shopping, a tour of Mennonite Coun- try and a visit to a farm and buggy party.
