On Sept. 13th we held our Flea Market at the Nestleton Hall & win- ner of the door prize was Mrs. Mur- ray Geer, who won a lovely hanging houseplant donated by "The Best of Things' Plant & Gift Shop, P.P. Plaza. 'The winning ticket was drawn by Randy Sears. The Junior Garden Club will hold their 1st meeting on Oct. 7th from 7:00 to 8:00 at the Nestleton Hall. At left is Club president Shirley Love and at right is Ona Quackenbush of Nestleton. The two young lads are Cliff and Blain Pelrine of Caesarea who are members of the Pine Ridge Jr. Garden Club. They extend a welcome to all youngsters from six to 13 to attend a meeting _in Nestleton Hall, October 7 at 7:00 p.m. Pace fast at PPHS The third week into the school year is setting a very fast pace for the students of P.P.H.S. with school team tryouts, band and choir audi- tions and numerous other activities. Student rep elections were also held last week. The volunteers were very enthusiastic. The meeting yesterday went very well also and the treats from students council were well received. This week is also full of activity. The 1986 yearbooks went on sale yesterday. They are being sold in front of the office all this week. If you haven't already paid in full be sure to bring your money when you go to pick up your book. Student pictures are coming up next week, and yes, the gre.t pic- ture package is back. Buy your pic- tures and get a 1987 yearbook, all for the low, low cost of $18.50. The first full council meeting will take place Wednesday the 17th. This includes executive and all the new class reps. Intramural volleyball also started Tuesday. For those of you who sign- ed up, the teams are posted by Gym AB.
