Scugog receives gift from 'The Arm' The movie company that used part of Queen Street for filming scenes for "The Arm"' in Port Perry recently has made a $1200 donation to the municipality. The donation was made after the filming had been completed in Port Perry, according to administrator Earl Cuddie. He said at Monday's council meeting that $500 will be used for the annual Santa Claus Parade this coming November in Port Perry, and $700 will be set aside to help cover costs for the planned concerts next summer at the Rotary Band- shell in Palmer Park. Township council has endorsed a suggestion from Bill Barr that a series of evening concerts be stag- ed next summer at the Bandshell in the Park.
