A total of 169 classes, comprised Minor accidents blamed conditions The first snowfall of thie winter last Thursday is being blamed for several minor accidents in Scugog Township, according to Regional Police. On November , Jeffrey Wallace of RR 2 Blackstock lost control of his 1986 Ford on Durham Road 2. Police say the car went into a skid and then hit the ditch causing close to $8,000 damage. He suffered minor injuries. There were no charges laid due to road conditions. Also on November 22, Dini Page of RR 1 Port Perry lost control of her vehicle on Concession 6 about 4:30 p.m. She suffered minor in- juries. Damage was set at about $2,000. There were no charges. And on November 20, Janet Milner of Oshawa lost control of her Stolen car recovered Regional Police say two vehicles reported stolen from an auto dealer in Oshawa have been recovered in a rural area of Scugog Township. Police said a 1979 Black Firebird and a 1986 Dodge pick-up truck were spotted by a hunter November 20 in the area of the Scugog-Darlington vehicle on Durham Road 2, hit the ditch and caused about $3,000 Jainage to her car. No charges were ai A two car accident November 22 at the Shirley Road intersection with Durham Road caused more than $4500 damage and led to careless driving charges against an Oshawa area man. Police say a car driven by Harold Fisher of Ashburn was stopped in the southbound lane of Durham Rd. waiting to make a turn onto the Shirley Road. The Fisher vehicle was hit from behind by a second car driven by Mark Mihelcic of RR 1, Oshawa. Fisher suffered minor in- juries and Mihelcic has been charg- ed with careless driving. On November 17, a home in the Blackstock area was robbed during the day while the occupants were away. Police say a colour TV set and a stereo were taken in the robbery. On November 20, Durham Police in Whitby apprehended a suspect in connection with an overnight theft of piano, instrumental and vocal sections have been scheduled.
