PEARSE JEWELLERY LTD. Jim & Cheryl Pearse and Staff concert last Thursday evening. Under the direc- tion of Ms. B. Bell, this choir sounded lovely. Purr-fect!!! by Tanya Mappin Gr. 7 - Cartwright Central P.S. It was a wintry morning when it arrived. Christmas morning to be. exact. It was 7:00 a.m., when my brother ran excitedly into my bedroom. 'Get up," he yelled, as I rolled off my bed. "IT'S CHRISTMAS." Getting to my feet, I tumbled down the stairs. There were many signs that Santa had been here last night. The milk and carrots my brother had left, were gone, and the stockings were full. Running to his stocking, my brother dumped it out. He was impressed. Reaching for mine, I slowly lifted out one thing at a time. First to come out was a floppy earred stuff- - ed dog. Next was an orange. But last was something I could not identify. I lifted it out, and there to my sur- prise sat a little black kitten. My heart thumped as he started to purr. This was a purr-fect Christmas. Hear Ye! In the spirit of love and peace, we extend our special holiday wishes. Many thanks for your continued support.
