Seagrave and Area News by Marilyn Beacock The little ones as well as the young-at-heart are getting caught up in the festive holiday spirit that prevails everywhere these days. From the gaily decorated homes, the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree and the aromatic fragrances being emitted from the kitchen should be sufficient to melt the heart of the staunchest old Scrooge. Speaking of outdoor lights I think that this year is one of the most spectacular ever for decorated homes. Some homes are absolutely Our message is simple but sincere, "Have a glorious Christmas, friends!" JIM HEAYN AUTO SALES breathtakingly beautiful. It certain- ly makes for a great pastime to drive around viewing some of these fantastic displays. The icy streets and sidewalks are very treacherous and make walking very hazardous as our neighbour Fern Tobin found out last weekend. She and her sidewalk met rather unexpectedly and when the snow had settled Fern had two black eyes and a fractured wrist. Sorry to hear about that Fern - hope you'll soon have the cast off and are feeling better. Welcome home to two of our other neighbours. Mrs. Jill Coffey has returned home after spending a cou- ple of weeks in the Oshawa General and Mr. Terry Lavereau arrived home this week after having an ap- pendectomy last weekend. This would make a good Christmas, having all your family with you and to have a big dinner in front of you on the table. On Christmas day to wake and find a tree full of gifts under it and then go to your stockings and get little gifts out of it. Then you open your gifts to find what you want to get for Christmas and you should have snow on the ground for Christmas and a nice big Christmas tree in your living room with lots of lights on it to light it up. We enjoy seeing the people that you never seen before 'and before you eat you pray to God for the poor people that have no food so they starve and we pray for food for them. We also thank God for the food for us. Then we eat our food on the table in front of us. After we eat we should play with our new games and toys that we got at Christmas. To make a Perfect Christmas for everyone in the world we should be ~ thankful for everything that we get and that would make a Perfect Christmas. +++ PIPPI IP IP IE IE IE IR SE IE 2 2 I IN 2. 2. 5.
