Robinson and Carol left the Scugog Pastoral Charge, the congregations have worked well in keeping the ser- vices going as usual including a very happy Christmas Eve Service, when Manchester and Scugog met in the Scugog Church and followed a planned program. The Church was filled to capacity. The musical numbers were outstanding when ~ Janet Lamb played her trumpet, John Davis played violin in com- pany with Bob Cawker. The talented Fuller sisters added much when Meredith and Meagan played a duet with clarinet and flute and then Arin played her violin. The Jr. choir also had prepared two songs. Families took part in a Candlelighting ceremony. Chuck Preston and Jan Gerrow led the ser- vice. The last Sunday Service of the year, we were pleased to welcome Rev. Doreen Van Camp as the guest speaker. We are sorry we do not hear about all the people who are sick or hospitalized. We understand Mrs. Lenore Blueman is doing better. Before Christmas, Mrs. Pauline Woodcock from the Foot was in the Toronto General for major surgery but seems to be recovering quite well at home. Mrs. Elsie Jackson of Fralick's Beach has been in three hospitals since Sept. But we trust she is on the way to recovery now. Congratulations to Mike and Val Freeman in getting a reward for their artistic endeavours and hours of work in brightening up their Island home for Christmas. We are very proud of our Island people who co-operate so well to promote a Community spirit.
