Some of which include the , Boreiians productions of "The Murder Room' and his role of Peter in "Nurse Jane Goes To Hawaii" won him a best-supporting-actor award, affording Steve the oppor- tunity to audition at the Stratford Theatre. Other theatre groups have benefitted from Steve's presence on stage. He has played in "Court of Common Pleas' and "Buried Child" with the Durham Shoestring Players, and did a superb job on the role of Judd in OLT's production of "Tribute." We wish to thank Mrs. Downey for volunteering to help the W.I. in distributing the proper house numbers in Greenbank. Your co- operation will be appreciated. We are happy to report« Mrs. Marion Innes is feeling. much stronger, in Port Perry Hospital. We offer our sympathy to Mrs. Mildred Thomson and family in the loss of her loving sister, Miss Mary Forfar of Agincourt. Steve claims that satisfaction and personal growth are only a couple of reasons that attract him to the stage. He particularly enjoys the op- portunity to create a character and be someone else for a while. Steve will be doing just that in 'Butterflies Are Free" opening at Town Hall 1873, February 27, 1987.
