The rink skipped by Ron Vice was the on- ly three game winner and rolled up 47 points in the process to take the trophy. At left presen- ting the trophy is Scott Fletcher, with Ron Vice, Neil Taylor, Janice Robertson and Debbie Vice. At right are Pat and Diana Fletcher. Runner-up in this popular mixed bonspiel was the rink skip- ped by Dale Van Camp. by Elaine Bradt With the snow finally here our trails and Dyno Club activities are well on their way. On January 11 we held our annual "Games Day and Cook Out' with 35 participants. The winners were Kevin-Mante] (youth), Gail Shad- dock (ladies), and Greg Megill (Mens). On January 17, 31 members em- barked on an overnight ride to Buckhorn's Westwind Resort - a trip of about 55 miles one way. We left Caesarea at 8:30 Saturday morning crossing Lake Scugog to catch Snow 10 at Seagrave and on to Woodville where a'short pit stop was required. On the trail again we sur- vived a few spills and made our way through Glenarm and Fenelon Falls to take on food and fuel at Murray uz Dynos enjoying the snow Coffee Shop (great food and service - thank you). Refreshed and rejuvenated we proceeded to Sno 1 to Nogies Creek where Buckhorn Snowmobile Club has a trail marked across Pigeon, Little Bald & Big Bald Lakes to our distination on Little Buckhorn Lake. Westwind Resort was all we had "hoped for with beautiful rooms and scenery, great food and refreshing hot tub and sauna (a must place to visit). The Buckhorn Club organized a night ride of some of their trails to a welcome around a bonfire and wiener roast for us. Sunday morning came too "early but after a beautifal "9:00 a.m." breakfast we hit the trails at 10:30 a.m. for our return trip. After spending about oné hour at Nogies Creek repairing some - raachines and lunch we . kept a steady pace to arrive back in Caesarea around 5:30 p.m. A beautiful weekend trip arranged by Brian Shaddock. - ' January 25 the Club held its Poker Rally and Pot Luck supper with 44 members participating. The win- ners of this event were Leanne Goslin (youth girls), Shawn Sauter (youth boys), Elaine Bradt (ladies), and Brian Shaddock (mens). February 1g saw about 12 members taking and enjoying an afternoon trip to the Watermill Restaurant on Hwy- 12 for a very ap- petizing meal. On closing "I would like to stress that there are still too many people riding the trails with no stickers and no respect for the landowners pro- perty. This action by a few can on- ly hurt all snowmobilers.
