Sweethearts Nestleton-Caesarea News by Mabel Cawker Blue Ray Chaper Holds Sweethearts and Brothers Night A smaller attendance than usual due to a stormy night with blowing snow, but Blue Ray Officers and members who were present had a delightful evening. It was held in the Masonic Temple, Port: Perry. Guests were present from Oshawa and Bowmanville Chapters and given a warm, fraternal welcome in the East by Worthy Matron Elsie Wilbur assisted by acting Worthy Patron Wilfred Alexander of Oshawa. During the business period several money raising ventures are scheduled for April and May .. and all members are asked to get behind these projects and be as supportive as possible. Our Worthy Matron's special project for year 1987 is -- a wheelchair for Central Seven for the Mentally Handicapped. Also- Estarl- to assist students in College "or University, who have dedicated their lives to the spiritual service of mankind .. let us be generous in our givings .. we are a Benevolent 'organization .. remember that!! Before closing .. draping of the Altar in memory of a Past Grand Patron was solemnly conducted. After the conclusion of Chapter business all retired to the lower Hall for the Valentine programme and party. The. room was beautifully decorated in the Heart theme: for 'he occasion. A cake walk proved to be very entertaining as well as pro- fitable. The refreshment committee under the convenership of Isabel Wilson served the lovely lunch con- sisting of a variety of sandwiches, relishes and a gorgeous Heart Cake topped off with tea and coffee .. a super lunch enjoyed by all. A fine evening of fellowship before heading out for home.
