Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown of Binscarth, Manitoba and Beatrice Kelly of Blackstock visited with the Armour McMillans and Mrs. Kathleen Leask last Friday and Mr. ('orless Askenhurst and Ernie Luke Squirt girls Marsh Hill Jerseys loaned Gord Lewis 3 players to fill their team up and played to a 24-4 win. Coach Janet of the Lewis team said that all 5 of the girls that show- ed up for the game played well. Laurie Buscher had 2 good hits and made a great catch at 2nd base, Mandy Porter pitched a good game but tapped-it off with a grand slam. In the game between Hank's Pastries and Port Perry Star, Shar- ron De Koning played well at short- stop and also did well at the plate. Laurie Gladish did a good job on the pitchers mound and smashed a solid triple for the Stars. Jennifer Morden did well filling in for the absent cat- chers. Regan Harmmer pitched well for the Pastries and was 4 for 4 at the plate. Denna Lovering hit a solid grand slam to help her team to the 18-10 win for the Pastries. visited the McMillans on Saturday night. The Works Department of the Regional Municipality of Durham is still interested in receiving your answers to the questionaire sent out in June about the proposed com- munal water 'supply system. Although a deadline of July 3 was originally given, people are still more than welcome to send in their replies.
