Goal scorers for Port Perry Star were Greg Bruton with five goals and Jeff Ashton with other two. : In the other game, Gord Lewis Motors came out on top in a closely fought game with Ted E. Bear 2-1. Scoring for Gord Lewis were Stephen Nagy and Terry Ely. The lone scorer for Ted E. Bear was Tim Wary. Squirt Division © Squirt action continued with two games last week. Kinsmen behind a four goal performance by Shane | Norton easily got by 'Ridge North Realty 4-1. Scoring for Ridge North was Justin Halligan. The other game was much closer ~ with Canadian Tire and Lake ~~ Scugog Lumber tying 2-2. Scoring - both goals for Canadian Tire was John Schewaga. Lake Scugog goal scorers were Corey Wiatrzyk and Matt Bramham. oe Atom Division In the Atom Division last week the emphasis was on offence not defence. In the game Tuesday, Prestige Hair were cruising along against Denny Metals with a three goal lead when the wheels fell off. Denny Metals fought back in the se- cond half to salvage a 3-3 tie. Scor- ing for Prestige were Tommy Chambers with two and Kevin Hobbs with a single. Denny's scorers were Ryan Duff, Matt Brown and Matt Phoenix. Wednesday's game was another high scoring game with R&S Leather winning 6-3 over Denny Metals. The goal scorers for R&S Leather were Sandy Mark with three and singles going to Adam Hunter, Kelly Phipps and Stephen Hiemstra. Scoring for Denny Metals were Matt Phoenix, Matt Brown and Darren Kinnunen. The rain came down Sunday mor- ning after the short beginning of the 'Hot Pink Open' Mixed Doubles Tie Breaker Tournament, organized and ran by Georgia Brock. Pink was the theme; pink clothes adorned the - courts, pink potted plants, pink & man, clod entirely in pink. Diane Burt and Beth Charles tied for best dressed lady. Lucky "pink" draws were won by various members. Do Bigglestone, Heather McCrae, Georgia Brock, Sandy Greenwood, Judy Vanderwyst, and Cathy Reese were guests of the ladies of the Fenelon Falls Tennis Club last Wednesday. The tennis was fun, the weather was great and the lunch was superbly delicious. Ladies of the Fenelon Falls Tennis Club are visiting our courts for a morning of then sign up on the sheet posted on the new bulletin board. This coming weekend is our Junior's Tournament being organiz- ed and ran by Bob Alexander and Rebecca Kahn. The juniors are ex- cited about their tournament and no doubt there will be a lot of excited parents and friends in the gallery.
