The Maid of Honour was Andrea Smith, formerly of Port Perry. The bridesmaids were Cheryl Dinaut of Nova Scotia, Maria Serio of Scar- borough, Shari McMaster of Toronto and Kathy Stokes of Port Perry. The Best Man was Bill Van Camp, brother of the groom. The ushers were Robert Van Camp, brother of the groom, Todd Wilbur, and John Butler, all of Port Perry and Peter Stone, formerly of Port Perry. The pretty flowergirl was Katie Van Camp, niece of the groom. The dapper young ring bearer was Joel Van Camp, nephew of the groom. They all looked wonderful. The Guide pack is in need of volunteer mothers to Artist's coup A painting by artist Leslie A. Parkes has been recently selected by jury to appear in an exhibition of fine art in the United States. His en- try, a large watercolour illustration of a natural setting of five trilliums, joins other successful submissions from 57 Canadian and American ar- tists in an event sponsored by the Batavia Society of Artists of Batavia, New York. Completed earlier this year, "Trilliums" was originally commis- sioned by Mr. and Mrs. D. Blair of Toronto. However, before its actual delivery, the work appeared in yet another adjudicated exhibition of Ontario artists in Collingwood. The exhibition runs through the month of October. Mr. Parkes will attend the official reception on Oc- tober 4th, at which time various awards will be presented to the win- ning participants.
