A sing song led by Faye ; Ashton followed. 5 Mrs. Crosier read a poem entitl- * ed "Somebody's Mother." Lucienne Ross sang "Till the Storm Passes By' and "Saved by Grace." Faye read the scripture Mark 4, vs. 35-41, and a story written by her Father, Don Asling about *'Old Bess' taking them home safely through the storm which was compared to people who follow Jesus who will be shown the ° way. Eileen Slute read a poem from the old red reader entitled "The Duel" BE which was about the Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat. Gifts were presented and Happy Birthday once again sung. As the residents departed for the evening we gathered for our business meeting. President Elizabeth Taylor reported on the recent Presbyterial meeting and upcoming events.
