Her craft demonstration 1s just a pleasure to watch and to some peo ple win. Greta gave away numerous door prizes, just ask Florence Smith, Elva Elston and Joan War- ren for a look at theirs. A light lunch was enjoyed by all at the end. Hope to watch you again soon, Greta sHappy birthday to Mary Wilham- son and Myrtle Snelgrove, they both celebrated birthdays on the weekend. Deepest sympathy and kind thoughts to Terry and Eileen Hodgins and Stan and Gail Glass in loss of a dear father and father-in- law, Mr. Hector Hodgins The monthly meeting of Prince Albert U.C.W. was held on Wed. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Parris along with Bruce and Karen Smith from Sandford enjoyed last weekend in Kitchener at the Farmer's Market. Please phone Ilean Pugh with your news next week at 985-2146. Devotion was taken by Grace Beacock, Ilean Pugh and Dorothy Hope - they chose "Remembrance Day' as their theme. Hymn 173 was sung, Scripture was done by Ilean Pugh. Grace read a poem entitled "The Poppy Message' that was just beautiful. While Grace pinned some poppies on a wreath, Ilean and Dorothy read in session lines spell- ing out 'Remembrance Day." After the offering, hymn 271 was sung. Then [lean Pugh read a poem entitled *'I can't remember' which was humorous but true. In the business part, a thank you letter was read from Operation Eye Sight. Dec. 14th we will be serving "The Friendly Visitors,"' a Christmas Dinner and a committee was set up for the gifts for the Shut- Ins at Christmas. There will be a farewell party for Rev. and Mrs. Jackson on Dec. 30th which is a Wednesday, in the church basement. Lunch was served by Norma Robinson and Beth-Pereman. See you in December on the 9th with a dish for our Pot-Luck supper an lots of singing. Sorry to report one of our Senior ladies is in hospital in Port Perry. Get well soon Florence Smith from all of us in Prince Albert. Thursday evening was the week- ly euchre at the Community Hall and 12 tables were filled. Ladies high was Ann Taylor, second was Mary Cannon and low was Olive Or- miston. On the men's side- high was Harold Burgess, second was Bert Daniels and low was Frank An- drews.
