4 EE IIIT Last chance to enter Lights '87 a ---- an er Moy, i b a Time's running out to enter the Star's Christmas Lights contest. Deadline for entries is this Thursday, December 10th, so if you've been thinking about entering your home in this competition you'd better get the lead out, and call the Star at 985-7383. As of Friday morning, only seven names have been registered in the contest, so chances of winning are pretty good. First prize for the best lit house will receive $50 cash. Two honourable mentions will take home $25 each. Judging will take place on the evening of December 16th. After receiving 35 entries last year, organizers have limited the contest to 30, but so far, they're not even close to the limit. An evening drive last Thursday night revealed many, many homes dressed up in their Christmas best. Indeed, a quick drive through Port Perry alone reveals a multitude of potential prize winners. But you have to register to participate, so don't hesitate. If you live in Scugog Township and your house is decorated with Christmas Lights, call the Star and register. Couldn't an extra $50 come in handy at this time of year?
