There were carols to be sung The little tree was beautiful with tiny lights and each person put on a decoration. Then out came needles and thread, more popcorn went down the red lane than on the thread but soon the tree had beautiful garlands of popcorn. There were many games played before Santa appeared. He was wonderful - his long stocking was filled with gifts a carton of eggs for Gordon Postma - who only has about 5000 chickens -two apples for Bill McKay who has ten acres of Orchard and I wonder why Keith got a diaper. Lunch was even a surprise as we had wonderful Christmas puddings and endless samples of Christmas -baked goodies washed down with 8 sweet cider, coffee or tea a wonderful evening organized by Doug and Beth Wilson, Tom and Leoud Armstrong and Gord and Jill Postma.
