Swamp's goaltender Noel Lovering along with his teammates held Emmerson scoreless until the second period at 8:57 when Emmer- son's Jason Aram combined with Vince Criscione to tie the game. It appeared both teams were go- ing down to the buzzer but Emmer- sons scored the next three goals and Emmerson's marksmen were Paul Kett (2) and Vince Criscione (1) assists going to Glenn Whittaker (2) and Aaron Cochrane (2). From the opening whistle it was obvious that Port was the domi- nant team. The defence were mov- ed up to forward and most of the for- wards were put back on defence and all girls played well in these positions. What a beautiful goal, Leea!! Keep up the good work girls. On Saturday Dec. 19 the Petites hosted their fathers, brothers, sister and 2 mothers in a fun game. The girls took a quick goal lead on a goal by Michelle Fitzpatrick from Tanya Towns and a goal by Shannon Fox before the 'Oldies' got on the scoreboard. However, the girls lost by a score of 7-2. Scoring for the Oldies were Lloyd | Morden 1 goal, Wayne Fox 1 goal, 1 assist; Jason Towns 1 goal, 1 assists, Paul Kett 1 goal, 1 assist; Jen Pelow 2 goals; Ann Ostafichuk 1 goal, 1 assist; Todd Poppleton 2 assists; Rick Parliament and Dan Harris 1 assist each.
