Five judges spent several nights touring the streets, gradually nar- rowing down the many entries to three winners in each section of town including the northern section (north of Queen Street): the southern section (south of Queen Street); and Prince Albert. The winners of the northern sec- tion were Debbie Dell, on Cochrane Street, first; Susan Short, Cochrane Street, second; and Mrs. Parkinson, Lilla Street, third. The winners of the southern sec- tion were Ralph Forsyth, Caleb Street, first; Debra Duck, Lilla Street, second; and Robert Hall, John Street, third. The winners in Prince Albert were Stan Grills, King Street, first; Sarah Douglas, Simcoe Street, second; and Jennifer Smith, Union Street, third.
