Penny is the chairman of the" Operation Scugog Store. It will open on Feb. 25th. It will assist low and non-existent income families with food and the clothing will be sold at very low prices. Anyone will be able to buy clothing to help support the pro- ject. Mondays will be drop off days. Clothing must be clean and in good repair and clothes in season as they do not have the space to store out-of-season items. Penny gave us some good information and the amount of work that has been done trying to organize this big undertaking. Several thank you notes were read. The committee gave a report on renovations for kitchen. They showed plans for first sta ge. She has been a" very busy girl the past month. On Jan. 16th, she competed in the Oshawa Invitational Figure Skating competition and placed third. Jan 30 in Uxbridge, placed second. Then on Feb. 6th, in Minden, placed first and receiv- ed a trophy. Then on Feb. 13th, at the Pineridge competitioh in Orono, placed second for silver medal then on Sunday placed first. This now gives Angie the chance to skate in the Easic Eastern Ontario Trials on March 5th. Best of luck. Miss Kim Dowson is spending week in Jamaica with several friends.
