On our 50 Anniversary year Daffodil Day was a real success with all Daffodils sold by 3 p.m. The girls out selling around the town, are to be commended for a job well done! These early blooms in the spring represent a sense of hope and renewed life, and an- nually we celebrate Daffodil Day at the beginning of April - a kick- off for the Cancer Campaign. To- day, daffodils have become as much of a symbol of the Canadian Cancer Society as the Caduceus Pin! Cartwright canvassers are out in full force under the direction of Pat Sleep, our Campaign Director for this area. With many volunteer canvassers offering their services we should have a good campaign. Please "dig deep" to help them in this tremen- dous drive for funds!
