TOWN APPRECIATED BY VISITORS It's no secret that Port Perry is fast becoming a popular place for people to come and visit, and is very much appre- ciated by these visitors to our community. Last week, two friends of my mothers visited for a couple of days and were amazed at the beauty of the town, and the friendliness of the merchants in our stores.. Unsolicited comments such as these are nice to hear, but it's unfortunate that sometimes we take our own com- munity for granted. Perhaps we've lived here so long, we tend to forget how beautiful Port Perry really is!
