Seniors The Senior Citizens met on Wednesday, May 25 at 2 p.m. Our president, Clara Warren opened the meeting by welcoming everyone. O'Canada was sung. The Seniors have planned a trip through the motors then to Cullen Gardens & stop at Haugens for supper on June 17. Our King and Queen were chosen for the next year. Clara Warren and Bill Harper to be our King & Queen. Next Wed., June 1 will be euchre. On the fourth, she will be present at the library to talk about her work, from 2 P.m. to 4 p.m. Ruth has painted in watercolours for the past decade after discovering she was allergic to oll paint. Changing mediums has been a blessing for her, forcing her to constantly redefine and develop her technique. She has taken courses at Haliburton School of Fine Arts, Schneider School (Tweed) and Durham College In watercolour and sculpture.
