The children sang several songs accompanied by SMITH AND SMITH BIG V DRUG STORE Hwy. 7A and Water Street (PORT PERRY PLAZA) Phone 985-8886 HOURS: Mon., Tues., Wed. - 9am to 7pm, Thurs. & Fri. - 9am to 9pm Saturday 9am to 6pm, Sundays and Holidays 11am to 4pm Beth Willis and Dave Jamieson. The following students received attendance pins. First year: Cherrie Hopkins, Gregory Hunter. Second year: Janna O - to the Ostafichuk, Ryan Moynes. Third year: Lindsey Hopkins,, Nicholas Ostafichuk. Fourth year: Leslie Hunter, Christopher Jamieson, Jeff Jamieson, Jon Jamieson. Sixth year: Ian Ross. Tenth year: Holly Clodd. Eleventh year: Dana McMillan. The Sunday school presented a small gift to Debbie Hopkins as she will not be teaching a class here next year and Lorraine Andrews who also is retiring after fourteen years. A very interesting film "I Live On The Farm' was enjoyed by everyone. The day finished off with a picnic at Enniskillen Park. Several couples attended the 50th Anniversary of Os and Marg Croxall at the Curling Club on Saturday evening. Thursday evening saw thirteen tables of euchre players. The lucky winners, Ladies; Gladys Slack, Marie Gee, Ruby Birkett. Men: George Harper, Norman Birkett, Ivan Cochrane. Draw winners Grant Bright, Doris Evans. Lone hand series Lloyd and Vera Fawns tied with 13 lone hands each. A first time for hus- band and wife to be tied. Better health is wished for some of our friends Rose Willoughby and Velma Ross. We miss you. Those people having birthdays Joan Warren, Paula Willis, Eileen Hodgins, Beth Pereman and Grace Cherrie will be celebrating her 80th birthday on Sunday, June 12th with an open house at 99 Sim- coe St. from 2-8. Happy birthday to these people. : The U.C.W. will be held at the home of Florence Smith on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. The roll call your favourite Hymn. On Tues., June 14th, Rev. John Brown will be speaking and presenting slides on his time in Africa. This will be held in the lounge at the Port Perry United Church at 8 p.m. Everyone welcome.
