One of the real highlights of the weekend, will be the King Henry Medival Feast and Pub Night be- ing held in the Festival Tent on Friday, July 15. Anyone who has wanted to ex- perienced a medival feast will be sure to want to attend this fun- filled evening. There will be plenty of English If you haven't got your tickets for Beatlemania, then you had bet- ter act fast as Scugog Chamber of Commerce Festival Days organiz- ers say there are not many left. Beatlemania, the original Broad- way cast, will be appearing in the Festival Tent on Saturday, July 16 as part of the Great Britain Festi- val Days activities, and this is one show Beatles fans won't want to miss. The show was first put together in 1978 and ten years later it is still going strong, having played three years on Broadway and set- ting box office records in Tokyo, Japan and in London, England. + They have toured across Canada and the U.S.A. and have played on three separte occassions at the O'Keefe Centre in Toronto to sell- out crowds. The Beatlemania concert produc- tion is a faithful re-creation of the excitement, sounds and sights of a live Beatle concert, with meticu- lous attention being given to de- tails from the exact hairstyle, to duplicate musical instruments and equipment. Don't miss this chance to hear the sounds that made the Beatles famous. Songs like "Can't Buy Me Love", "Eight Days a Week", Magical Mystery Tour", "Hey Jude" and "Revolution" are just some of the nostalgic music you will be able to re-live. Inn Crowd British Bash features hits of 50's, 60's If you like dancing to the hits of the 50's, 60's and 70's then you won't want to miss the Inn Crowd as they return this summer to Fes- tival Days to entertain you. Bill and Pete have be pursuaded into re-uniting one last tirac to spin the discs that made their teen dance in the 1960's such a success. Bop till you drop at Beatlemania wenches to serve your feast, as well as wandering minsterals to entertain you at your tables. And of course there are always the zany court jesters and good ole' King Henry himself to take part in the evenings activities. If you are looking for serious, quite dining, then the Mediaval Feast is not for you! From the time you get to the Festival Tent you will be wined, dined and entertained like you have never been entertained before. The two hour feast, consists of chick- en, beef shishkabobs, spare ribs, baked potatoes, corn on the cob and lots more, and while you're en- joying the delicious fare, there will be plenty of entertainment and laughter as the King Henry's court jesters have many surprises in Last summer over 800 people crammed into the Festival Tent to take part in a revived "Inn Crowd" dance and by all accounts it was considered one of the most enjoya- ble nights during the festival. According to Bill and Pete, last years Inn Crowd dance was one of the most enjoyable they have done since they retired as DJ's about ten years ago. "We welcome the chance to come back to Festival Days and see some of our old friends", Bill told the Star. The Inn Crowd dance will take place on Thursday, July 14 in the Festival Tent, and should prove to be another great evening of " good time Rock 'n Roll" There are no advance sales for this event, but tickets will be avai- able at the door.
