Theo and Joan Knight attended a family reunion last Sunday afternoon at the home of Don and Cathy Knight in Port Perry. Last Sunday at Burns we were privileged to have as our guest minister, The Rev. John Robert- son from Toronto. He delivered a very fine sermon, taking as his text Genesis 26, verse 25. During the service Debbie Batten sang two lovely solos. Next Sunday, the Rev. Thomas Gemmell will be in charge of wor- ship at Burns. Also next Sunday, all church school classes will resume again. On Sunday, September 11th, we will all join together on the grounds at the Community Centre at 10:00 a.m. sharp for a fun time of games, singing and lunch.
