Congratulations to Kyle Brough and his dog Buffy they got first prize at Port Perry Fair for the dog with the shortest tail. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen have a new son. He arrived on Sept. 6 and weighed 8 lbs. 12 ozs. and will be named Jarned Edward. Nice go- ing Kelly - now Kara has a brother. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Russell and children Emma and Ben recent- ly enjoyed a family reunion with the Turner clan on Manitoulin Island. Congratulations to the bride and groom Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lucas who were married on Sat., Sept. 10 at the Prince Albert United Church. The U.C.W. catered to the reception at the. Curling Arena in Port Perry. Good luck Heather and Mark in your years to come. Mr. and Mrs.Ev Saunderson of Orillia were company with Les and Grace Beacock one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Beacock and family Lee Blair and Craig of Seagrave were Sunday dinner guests of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Les Beacock. Then on Monday, Les and Grace enjoyed dinner with No. 3 son Bryan, Judy and Phillip over on Shirley Road. Congratulations to another bride and groom; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Arculus, who were married on Sat., Sept. 10 at the Anglican Church in Port Perry. Bruce pick- ed a girl from Nottingham, England by the name of Caroline Gray for his wife. All the best you two from your Prince Albert friends. } Penny Gray from Nottingham, England attended her daughter's wedding and stayed with Paul and Liz Arculus. Also at the same house and attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Roberts from Bishopton, Scotland, aunt and uncle of Jean Freeman, great aunt of Liz from Scotland. We hope you all enjoy your stay in Ontario. Douglas Arculus came from Whistler Mountain, B.C. to attend his brother's wedding and Lottie Richardson from Victoria, B.C. attended her grandson's wedding. Oh, I nearly forgot, Heather Roberts and Hazel Watt from Scotland they were at Bruce and Carolines wedding also. Pearl Gostick and Ilean Pugh attended "Open House" on Sun- day for Valma Bryant on her 90th birthday. This was at the United Church in Port Perry.
