This is the eighth year for the show, and organizers Donna Sanders and Kathleen Goodway are expecting to the be the best to date. Above, Mrs. Wokral displays some of her hand made porcelain doll creations which are poured by hand. Clothing and hair is custom made, and the doll painted. Prices for the dolls range from $225 to $700 de- pending on the size. The once-a-year craft show that everybody is waiting for is just around the corner, Saturday, Oc- tober 22 at Port Perry High School. The Christmas Craft Sale, organized by Donna Sanders and Kathleen Goodway, is now eight years old and bigger and better than ever. More than 100 vendors will fill the school gymnasium between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. with crafts from all over Ontario, including locally. Always a very popular event, (LL idl Ladies and Gentlemen, The big one coming Oct. 22 the sale usually sees 5,000 or more visitors. The organizers suggest getting there early for the best bargains and selection. Once again, the Girl Guides are providing delicious refreshments and lunches in the cafeteria. As a new feature this year, they will manage a baby-sitting service, to enable shoppers to fully enjoy the glittering array of crafts. Mrs. E. Wokral is just one of the many local artisans who will be displaying and selling her help We need a special kind of person. Someone who's willing to share his/her homemaking and care-giving experience with the elderly and disabled.
