Scoring for Port Perry Printing were Jonathan Froats with 3, Chris Jamieson with 2, Johnathan Reed, Keith Hancock and Jamie Strickert with one each. Paul Shrigley, Jamie Clarke and Keith Hancock all pitched in with 2 assists while Adam Mahaffy and Jamie Strickert added 1. Jay Flet- cher and Scott Willman replied for Davids with Marc Versage picking up an assist. Game No. 2 was an exciting contest between IGA and ReMax with ReMax winning 4-3. Shane Norton scored 3 times for ReMax and Kevin Cochrane once. Kevin Racers down the On November 14, the Blue Racers broke loose in the third period of this Senior Floor Hockey game and scored four unanswered goals to beat the White Knights by the score of 12 to 8. Blair Prechitko and Mike Hep- burn were the sharp shooters for the Blue Racers scoring 5 and 4 goals respectively. Mike Tripp, Calvin Hammett and Ryan Duff each helped by scoring one goal each. For the White Knights, Brad Lemieux scored a goal in each period to earn a hat trick, while Kevin Pearce and Sean Sauter scored two goals each and Jamie Heayn one. In Intermediate play, the Red Raiders playing a very defensive game edged the Green Gators by the score of 7 to 6. For the Red Raiders, Josh Dun- can scored 4 goals while Chris Holland assisted by scoring two Cochrane also picked up 2 assists as did Tom Keeble. Tyler Wooten and Alex Dell each pitched in with one assist. Replying for IGA were Troy Campbell, Danny Lyons and Jason Heyworth. Jeremy Heyworth and Scott Jefferies each picked up one assist. ATOM Gord Lewis Motors 10 Tripp Realty 0 The Motormen finally picked up their first win in big fashion total- ly dominating this game right from the opening faceoff. Just in Wooton opened the flood gates scoring his first of 4 goals assisted by Bobbie Cracknell just 2 min. into the game. Chris Vandermeer scored his first of 4 with Justin Wooton getting the assist. Robert goals and Steve Stone with one. Kevin Pike and Jamie Sauter each answered by scoring two goals for the Green Gators while Steven Elliott and Andrew Jacob- son connected for one goal each. On November 21, the Green Gators sought revenge and shut- out the Red Raiders by the score of 4 to 0. In this action pack game, Steven Elliott scored two goals while Martyn Van Ravenswaay and David Verschuuren each replied with one goal each. Even though the Red Raiders didn't get on the scoreboard, Ron- nie Calvin, Aaron Stiller and: Adam Tiessen played a very good defensive game. In Senior action, the White Knights finally put it all together and beat the Blue Racers by the score of 9 to 6. Then with time running out in the first Chris Vandemeer beat a shell shocked Michael Wilson assisted by Tony Waldriff. The se- cond period saw Lewis add 2 more goals to their lead. Justin Wooton assisted by Chris Vandemeer & Jeremy Stevens then Chris Vandemeer with Tony Waldriff helping put Lewis up 6-0 at the close of the second. The third period saw Chris Vandemeer score his 4th of the game assisted by Justin Wooton & Bobbie Cracknell, then Justin Wooton scored assisted by Scott Swain. Jason Vader got in on the scoring parade assisted by Kristan Wooton then Justin Wooton clos- ed out the scoring with Bobbie Knights Pearce for 5 goals and Brad Lemieux and Sean Sauter each counted for two goals. Mike Hepburn scored three goals to earn a hat trick for the Blue Racers while singles went to Mike Tripp, Ryan Duff and Blair Prechitko. In a very well played Junior game the Blue Jays edged the Red Wings by the score of 6 to 5. There was a lot of action and Adam Youmans, the Blue Jays goalie and Jamie Mouland and Adam Jone, the Red Wings goalies, made several spec- tacular saves each to keep this game very close. For the Blue Jays, Chris Langford, Jamie Sauter and Stephen Nagy were able to score two goals each. Adam Jones scorred two goals for the Red Wings in the first period while Darryl Dalton, Scott Brownson and Jason Gunn were able to get one shot each past the Blue Jay goalie. Kyle McClymont picked up the easy shutout as he had only 5 shots to handle in the game. Whitby Auto Wreckers 4 Scugog Lumber 2 This game saw the top team go- ing down to defeat for only the se- cond time this season. Whitby got on the board first with Darren Kinnunen picking up the loose puck and beating Ian Johnson with a screened shot. The Lumbermen got that one back with Matt Baker doing all the work and finding Jon Jamieson who tipped the pass past Ryan Larmer. Whitby regained the lead with Steven Hiestra scoring with Jason Brown & Mark Turnbull picking up the assists. Matt Brown got Scugog even with Richard Kernonan getting the assist. The second period saw both teams have great scoring chances but Whitby picked up the only goals of the period. Steven Hiemstra assisted by Mark Turn- bull & Jason Brown then Steven again with his third of the game assisted by Jason Brown closed out the scoring for the period and the game. The third period again saw both teams have good scor- ing chances but were unable to connect. Chris Drury and Troy Anderson had a great game on defence for Scugog as did Robbie Martyn and Gord Bently for Whitby. With our two bottom teams knocking off the top two teams the standings now show 4 teams within 3 points of each other and if Lewis plays the way they did Saturday it won't be long before they are near the top. BANTAM Frank Real Estate 7 Swamp Auto 0 The score in this game just wasn't indicative of the play. Swamp had lots of chances but came uv against a hot goal tender in Derek Carter. It turned out to be a rough and tumble affair with both teams picking up 7 penalties. Eric Grosvenor figured in three of the four goals in the first period picking up 2 goals and 1 assist. Chris Cooper and Peter Sims picked up the other markers with assists going to Scott Airey (2), Robin Brown and John Wood- ward. John Woodward scored the only goal of the second with Eric Grosvenor and Chris Cooper pick- ing up the assists. Chris Cooper and Cole Parry ciosed out the scoring in the third with Derek Carter picking up an assist. Emmerson Insurance 4 Swamp Auto 4 This turned out to be a close checking game. Had it not been for the excellent job done by the Swamp defensive core Emmer- son would have walked away with a win. The teams traded goals in the first period with Ryan Picard scoring from Daryl Alexander for Swamp and Peter Brack scoring his first of four from Troy Fisher and Vince Criscione. Swamp ac- counted for the only scoring of the second, Carl Payne scoring unassisted and Kevin Brown scor- ing from Scott Foster and Herb Hatch. Peter Brock scored three times in the third with Vince Cris- cione and Scott MacLennan pick- ing up the assists for Emmerson. Daryl Alexander scored the lone marker for Swamp. Emmerson Insurance 8 Frank Real Estate 3 Frank controlled the play for most of the first period but just couldn't get the puck past Rob Ashton in the Emmerson net. With less than 3 minutes remain- ing in the first Emmerson scored three quick goals with Vince Cris- cione. Troy Fisher and Peter Brock picking up the markers and Neil Mark assisting. Play was evenly divided in the second but Frank just weren't able to cash in on all their chances. Eric Grosvenor opened the scoring in the second with Scott Airey assisting. Emmerson added two more from Don Hughes and Peter Brock with Peter picking up an assist on Don's goal. Ross Stain- ton for Frank and Neil Mark for Emmerson closed out the scoring in the second. Emmerson added two more in the third from Peter Brock, his third, and Doug Adams. Eric Grosvenor closed out the scoring for Franks.
