Interesting readings were presented by Bertha McLaughlin, "How will you know unless I tell You', and a Remembrance Day reading by Norma Wolfe, 'Padre X John Foote". The next meeting will be held Dec. 15. Meeting clos- ed with Benediction. A tasty lunch was served by B. McLaughlin & N. Wolfe! A fine meeting! Caesarea Euchre Results At the Wed. evening euchre at Caesarea Hall - 1st prize was a tie with Sharon Gooding & Albert Watts with 75. 2nd prize was a three way tie - Dorothy Wall, John Moore & Kathy Watts with 71. Low score - Aileen Owens - 53. Linda Hughes served the lunch! Bazaar Winners Winners from the draw at the Caesarea Bazaar were: 1st prize - a quilted pillow - won by Don Benjamen. 2nd prize - Christmas Flower arrangement - Nancy Leney. 3rd prize - Needle Art Kit - Bev. Tlitz. A good attendance and a sincere thank you from the Caesarea Ladies Auxiliary. The Churches At the Nestleton Presbyterian Church, the service was con- ducted by Mr. David Faulkner with Joyce Taylor at the organ. The responsive Psalm was 101, and Scripture from Job & Acts. Speaking on Job 23, the message was that God knows all the small things that we do in His name. We are all part of the body of Christ and we all need each other. An average attendance at the Caesarea Community Church. Robt. Heayn conducted the in- teresting service on Advent I Sun- day .. and led the responsive reading. He spoke on "Sign of His Coming' based on Script. from Matthew 24: 32-39. read by Norma Arney. Rev. Charles Clarke will take the service next Sunday and Holy Communion will be observ- ed. The Sunshine Club under the leadership of Lyn Arney is preparing for the Christmas programme. At Nestleton United on Advent I Sunday, Rev. Dale Davis brought a meaningful message entitled, "Adventure of a Lifetime" based on Script. from I Thessalonians & Luke, read by student Norman Seli. Claire & Jennifer Notman read about Ad- vent, and lit the first candle. The choir sang '"The Peace Carol", Organist - Gwen Malcolm. Greeter - Ralph Sadler. Marlene Bannister & friend Roy Fitzgerald of Peterborough, visited with her mother, Mrs. Neta Fish of Blackstock, on Mon- day, and they all had a delicious dinner at Haugen's Chicken Barbecue! Neta's first cousin Vyrnell Wylie from Oakwood, visited with her over the weekend - a very nice surprise! The Sam Cawkers of Scugog Pt. Rd. attended the 50th Wedding Anniversary party for Cam. & Helen MacMaster on Sunday afternoon, held in St. John's Presbyterian Church, Port Perry. Cam & Helen had a fine celebra- tion with family and friends on hand to extend "'best wishes" on this special day! Over 250 were in attendance! Our "very best" to the MacMasters for many more!
