JM rie ain a ~LEER i: Sunday was cold allright, but with blue skies and plenty of sunshine, it was a great day for a walk through a Christmas tree farm. Above, this couple meanders down a laneway, looking for a choice pine to bring home. Christmas Lights # update Wow! Talk about a great last- minute response! Last week, only six homes were entered in the Star's Christmas Lights contest. This week, an incredible 28 more names were added to the list, making this year the biggest year ever for the contest. Judging will take place this Wednesday December 14. All en- tries are asked to leave their lights turned on between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. (the judging process takes a long, long time). Judges are Star reporter Cathy Olliffe, Century 21 agent Janet Keene and homemaker Angie Kroonenberg. Star editor John B. McClelland will act as chauffeur. Winners will be announced in next week's Christmas Greetings Issue.
